The City of SeaTac recently launched the SeaTac Small Business Capital Access Program (SBCAP). This program is done in partnership with Business Impact NW, the Highline College Small Business Development Center (SBDC)/StartZone, the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce, the International Rescue Committee Seattle, and Growing Contigo.

This initiative, funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), is designed to support local SeaTac businesses by expanding access to technical assistance, capital, and business resources. The program is free to the SeaTac businesses.

“SeaTac’s small businesses play a vital role in the local economy and that is why the City of SeaTac is prioritizing the funding of training as well as providing stipends to our local businesses,” said SeaTac Mayor Mohamed Egal. “We are using one-time federal funds for long-term positive impacts within our business community,”

The goal of the program is to reach every small business in the SeaTac community seeking to stabilize and expand its operations. This complimentary program offers entrepreneurs access to professional assessments, loan readiness assistance, and personalized coaching to foster the growth and success of their businesses.
