SeaTac Mayor addresses Port of Seattle Commission regarding noise insulation

SeaTac Police to invest in FLOCK system that will help ID suspects
FLOCK is a powerful investigative tool that can assist officers in a wide variety of case as well as assist with missing person cases. Flock's cameras read license plates and send instant alerts to law enforcement officers when the cameras identify license plates that match those on "hot lists" of cars that are stolen or otherwise of interest to the police.
SeaTac Police present fourth quarter 2023 stats to City Council
There were 142 crimes against people in the last part of 2023, a slight uptick from the 117 reported from the quarter before. Crimes against people includes instances of human trafficking and kidnapping. There was one homicide reported last quarter, too.
WSDOT to close lanes on I-5 in SeaTac this weekend for SR 509 project
On Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2, crews will set 10 girders for the northern portion of the new South 216th Street bridge. Setting the girders is another milestone in construction of the bridge.
Police arrest suspect involved in local hit-and-run
On Feb. 25, police found a stolen RAM 1500 truck parked in SeaTac. Officers tried to contact the driver and the person drove off. The vehicle was then involved in a crash with a Jeep at South 128th Street and 22nd Avenue South. Both vehicles were significantly damaged, and the suspect fled on foot. The driver of the Jeep was pronounced dead, and a small child was transported to a nearby hospital.
Salmon hatch, will continue growing at the community center
