New permit, land use application portal coming to SeaTac soon
The City plans to have the portal available for use sometime in May 2023. As we get closer to system “Go Live” in May, watch for more blogs highlighting portal facts and features that will be available for customers.
WSDOT to close lanes on I-5, off-ramp to South 200th Street for construction
Construction crews will close the northbound I-5 off-ramp to South 200th Street/Military Road South and up to three lanes on northbound I-5. This work is part of WSDOT’s SR 509 project.

WSDOT will close the 24th Avenue overpass between April 19 and Aug. 18.
King County Sheriff’s Office collected nearly 300 weapons at its Gift Cards for Gun drop off
he event ran from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and allowed gun owners to anonymously drop off firearms in exchange for Visa and Mastercard gift cards. The prices for these gift cards varied upon the items dropped off. A little over $36,500 was given away in exchange for these weapons.
International Boulevard will be closed between S. 204th Street, S 208th Street for WSDOT work Tuesday and Wednesday nights
There will be a full closure of north and southbound lanes of International Boulevard from S 204th to S 208th Streets THIS Tuesday and Wednesday night. There will be a detour in place.
StormFest to be held in Des Moines this year, program recruiting workers
