The 2024 Great SeaTac Scrub Down was a great success! SeaTac Mayor Egal, Councilmembers Senayet and Vinson, as well as Interim City Manager, Kyle Moore were present, along with 52 volunteers.
Mayor’s Reception 2024
On Sept. 25, 200 attendees joined the Mayor's Reception at the DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle-Airport, hosted by the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce. The annual State of the Region event featured Mayors from Burien, Des Moines, Normandy Park, SeaTac and Tukwila.
City of SeaTac Civic Campus Project
The City of SeaTac is exploring the feasibility of replacing the current City Hall with a new Civic Campus that would house all City departments and services, as well as other community resources, at one centrally-located campus. The City is currently gathering information to help guide decisions regarding a new Civic Campus and has opened a public survey for everyone to fill out. As part of the feasibility study, the City is asking SeaTac residents what they would like to see as part of a City Civic Campus, if it were to be built, in a very brief online survey. Please take 3 minutes to fill out this survey today.
Updates on City Manager Selection Process
The public is invited to attend the upcoming City Manager Candidate Reception on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 4-6 p.m. at SeaTac City Hall, Council Chambers.
SeaTac City Council Presents Proclamation for Domestic Violence Awareness Month | Oct. 8
Continuing to raise awareness for the domestic violence epidemic throughout the month of October, the City of SeaTac arranged a proclamation to be given to valued nonprofit partner, DAWN (Domestic Abuse Women's Network.) This took place at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
Learn About Your City’s 2025-26 Budget
The SeaTac City Council and staff are in the process of developing a budget for fiscal year 2025-26. SeaTac residents will have the opportunity to learn about the budget proposal and give input at three budget workshops. The public can attend in person at City Hall or online. Saturday, Oct. 5, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 4 -7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 3-6 p.m.
SeaTac Community Center Offers Affordable Care, Camps, and Activities for Youth and Teens + Scholarship Support
The City of SeaTac regularly offers low cost and free services to kids and teens in our community. Check out some great options our Community Center offers - like before and after care at Bow Lake Elementary, camps for childcare on no school days (Oct. 11 and Nov. 1), and free drop-in activities for teens.
