The City of SeaTac has released a Request for Proposals (RFP), seeking a consultant to prepare a study that will guide the City in the establishment of a multifamily rental housing inspection program. SeaTac wants to establish an inspection program that is both effective and maximizes the benefit to the SeaTac community.
NEWS: City of SeaTac Ranks in the Top 10 for Washington State Population Growth
The City of SeaTac was one of the fastest growing cities in WA State in 2023. SeaTac saw a growth rate of 2.97% last year and this data puts SeaTac in the Top 10 for population growth. Washington State’s population has recently surpassed eight million residents – gaining just shy of 85,000 new Washingtonians in the past year.
Construction Alert! Chinook-Tyee Sidewalk Closed for Summer Work
From July 22 to the end of August, pedestrians will be directed to walk on the south side of South 188th Street, in front of Chinook Middle School and the new Tyee High School construction site. Highline School District expects sidewalk access to be open again before school starts at Chinook in September.
