SeaTac summer camp registration opens for kids, youth
A summer activity club will run from June 21 - Sept. 2 at Bow Lake Elementary with registration starting May 2. The City is also offering a Quest Adventure Summer Camp for 6th-8th graders from June 21 - Sept. 2.
SeaTac City Hall improves safety in parking lot
The speed bumps will slow down cars while traveling through the hundred plus space parking lot which is located at 4800 S 188th Street in SeaTac. These speed bumps replace previous bumps which were in the parking lot before a recent parking lot resurfacing.
Newly improved SeaTac BMX track will be unveiled in May
The construction project started this March and will be completed by May 21, which is coincidentally the date of the first race at the new facility.
BMX pump track community meeting on April 30
The community meeting will be held, Saturday, April 30 from 1-2 PM at the west side of the existing BMX track located at 1855 S. 136th Street, SeaTac.
Easter Egg Scramble brings families, Mayor Jake Simpson and Councilmember Peter Kwon
Children were able to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and also tour a fire truck provided by Puget Sound Fire. They had to complete a letter scramble to receive a goodie bag from Puget Sound Fire.
SeaTac Parks and Rec receives more funding from 4Culture, which will be used to support events
The City of SeaTac will receive an increase in the amount of Sustained Support funding awarded from 4Culture for the first time in fourteen years.
