National Drug Take Back Day returns Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at City Hall. People can drop off controlled, non-controlled and over-the-counter substances anonymously. No questions or requests for identification will be made.

The Port owns the tunnel, and the City maintains the roadway and sidewalks. Lane closures started this month and most of the work will be between 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Night closures are expected later this year. The Port will improve lighting, signage, fire detection, monitor carbon monoxide, repair cracks and spalls, traffic signals, emergency communications, security measures, and emergency power.
Human trafficking is an issue in our region and the City of SeaTac continues to take it seriously through a multi-pronged approach. Over the years, the City has championed bills and more in the legislative session to combat human trafficking. SeaTac has also joined the Businesses Ending Slavery & Trafficking (BEST) campaign, which is aimed at supporting human trafficking victims. BEST is a Seattle-based nonprofit that provides human trafficking awareness training and helps survivors find employment.
