City Council, at last week’s meeting, approved the Final Docket of Comprehensive Plan and development regulation proposals for the City to explore over the next year as part of the Envision SeaTac 2044 Comprehensive Plan update process.
The trucks were ordered in August 2022 to replace six trucks across the maintenance fleet. Five of these vehicles will be used by parks maintenance. Funding was provided in the budget and already allocated to replace trucks that were either damaged or old.

The Stormwater Management Program (SWMP Plan) is updated each year with new things the City is doing and we want your feedback. We accept comments year-round, but comments for the 2024 SWMP Plan must be received by March 1, 2024.
After careful consideration, the Public Works Engineering department proposed an amendment to the design contract to accommodate a few additions to the project scope. These changes include undergrounding existing aerial utilities within the City’s right-of-way and on private properties, constructing a new water main in partnership with Highline Water District and rebuilding the asphalt roadways.
This TDDP is the first ever for SeaTac with the stated focus on the visitor economy and provides a strategic, holistic and actionable road map to coordinate the recommended strategies related to the tourism and travel economy.
SKHHP is a voluntary partnership between 11 jurisdictions (10 cities and King County) that work together to address affordable housing challenges in South King County. The 11 jurisdictions each contribute annual operation funding to SKHHP, with the contribution amount based upon the population of each jurisdiction.
