Since August, residents from McMicken Heights, Madrona, Riverton Heights, Angle Lake and other communities have taken the City Vision Poll and shared their ideas for how to improve their neighborhoods over the next twenty years. Take the poll before it closes on Nov. 30 and tell the City your priorities.
The City received 332 responses, including from people who are not involved in the program. The survey was also provided in other languages. The majority of the respondents were SeaTac residents but people from nearby Burien, Tukwila and Des Moines also participated.

SeaTac will be required to comply with the CPPs to ensure that SeaTac also complies with the Growth Management Act (GMA). In Washington state, the GMA requires periodic review and updates to cities’ comprehensive plans and development regulations on a ten-year cycle. SeaTac is currently working on updating its comprehensive plan.
SeaTac was awarded a $100.000 grant from the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office that will be used for trail repairs at North SeaTac Park.
Business Watch programs are similar to Neighborhood Watch programs. Business Watch programs have proven to be a very effective way of preventing crime at businesses and in commercial areas. Business owners know what's going on in their community and working with each other and law enforcement can help prevent crime.
