The 2017 Urban Forest Enhancement Guide found SeaTac canopy coverage totaled 25 percent (not including the SeaTac Airport). Restoration and planting efforts are ongoing since 2019 within North SeaTac Park and Angle Lake Nature Trail to remove invasive species and plant trees and native plants.

SeaTac BMX is hosting a large event July 21–July 23, expecting more than 4,000 people to the area over the three days.
Eastbound State Route 518 near Sea-Tac International Airport will close for two consecutive weekends in mid-July to replace a damaged bridge girder. This repair also requires a 14-week closure of the 24th Avenue South bridge over SR 518, beginning Wednesday, July 5.
