Nearly 79 percent of responders to the City’s solid waste survey indicated they are satisfied or very satisfied with their current service.
This week SeaTac City Council unanimously approved $115,200 for SeaTac students attending the pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs for the construction trades. The money will pay for a living allowance, transportation costs and meals costs for SeaTac students completing the program with ANEW. The Des Moines Memorial Drive Preservation Association partnered with the cities of Burien, Des Moines, and SeaTac to install signal box wraps at fourteen major intersections along Des Moines Memorial Drive, a road dedicated to World War I fallen soldiers.
In April there were 41 crimes against people. Crimes against people includes instances of human trafficking and kidnapping. There were 143 crimes against property. Crimes against property includes vandalism, burglary and auto thefts.
