City Council approves amendment to SeaTac’s fireworks ordinance allowing for some commercial fireworks
Some consumer commercial fireworks are still banned including: aerial, airborne, discharges, launches and explosive fireworks. Firecrackers, sky rockets, missiles and bottle rockets are only legal to purchase, possess and discharge at Native American reservations.

Playground equipment at SeaTac Community Center to be replaced next month
n preparation for the new equipment installation, Parks staff have closed the playgrounds and are removing the existing equipment and safety surfacing. The new equipment is scheduled for delivery on May 17 and installation will begin the week of May 22.
