Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to conduct fish survey at Angle Lake Sept. 19-30
This survey will allow biologists to assess the fish community and long-term changes in response to the recent unauthorized introduction of Walleye Sander vitreus into the lake. The WDFW is concerned that this introduction will drastically reshape the fish community and depress, or eliminate, existing fisheries in Angle Lake.

SeaTac City Council approves amendment to agreement with Burien for the Miller Creek project
The estimated total construction costs have increased since the 2019 estimate of $3.22 million and to $4.8 million. The estimate for the SeaTac segment of the project increased City’s share from $985,000 to $1.76 million.

SeaTac City Council approves budget amendment for $3.5 million to support small businesses
This funding is delivered from the American Rescue Plan Act and State and Local Fiscal Relief funds. Programs the city will support were chosen based on feedback provided by SeaTac small businesses during the 2021 Business Synergy Program Outreach survey, along with guidance from SeaTac’s City Council.
SeaTac installs ‘No Parking’ signs near Bow Lake Elementary
The City of SeaTac has installed No Parking Signs last month near Bow Lake Elementary in response to concerns regarding double parking/stopped cars in roadway. These parked cars impacted the ability for people to travel through South 182nd Street and 42nd Avenue South during school pickup times.
