SeaTac City Council approves budget amendment for $3.5 million to support small businesses

This funding is delivered from the American Rescue Plan Act and State and Local Fiscal Relief funds. Programs the city will support were chosen based on feedback provided by SeaTac small businesses during the 2021 Business Synergy Program Outreach survey, along with guidance from SeaTac’s City Council.

Project update: Most of construction work on South 188th Street is complete

This summer’s overlay project encompasses a one mile stretch of South 188th Street from Des Moines Memorial Drive to International Boulevard. This overlay was a fairly substantial undertaking because of its size, unique elements such as the tunnel beneath the runways, a proposed new landscaped median, and the heavy levels of traffic that utilize this vital arterial on a daily basis.

Puget Sound Fire responded to an apartment fire Sept. 11 at the Skyview Park Villa London Apartments, 17806 32nd Avenue South. A little after 10 a.m. firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire.
