Twenty-five recruit firefighters graduated from the South King County Fire Training Consortium recruit academy on May 19 with six expected to be stationed in SeaTac. City Council adopts South 200th Street corridor Study

The study presents two options for the City to consider when planning for long-term improvements to the corridor. Option 1 includes one driving lane in each direction with a continuous center-turn lane, bicycle lanes and wider sidewalks. Option 2 maintains two driving lanes in each direction, does not include a center turn lane, adds bicycle lanes and wider sidewalks and would result in acquiring significant property to widen the roadway and fit these improvements.
