City Manager Carl Cole names Mary Tuttle as the new Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of SeaTac. Tuttle’s first day with the City was June 5. She is just the third Parks Director in the City’s 32-year history. She replaces retiring Director Lawrence Ellis.

Currently, WSDOT is working on building the first mile of the new SR 509 Expressway and new I-5 ramps. This stage of construction is expected to be completed in 2025.

Completed utility wraps along Des Moines Memorial Drive honor WWI soldiers
The Des Moines Memorial Drive Preservation Association partnered with the cities of Burien, Des Moines, and SeaTac to install signal box wraps at fourteen major intersections along Des Moines Memorial Drive, a road dedicated to World War I fallen soldiers.
