SeaTac police present updated crime stats to City Council, 205 arrests made this year
So far this year there have been 399 crimes against people. These stats include cases of human trafficking, homicide and kidnapping.
SeaTac City Council approves contract to replace playground equipment at Community Center
The selection of the playground equipment was based on the number of possible play activities, unique design, and visual appearance. It is anticipated the playground equipment will be installed in late 2022 or early 2023.

SeaTac maintenance crews sharpened their snowplowing skills today preparing for winter weather. The Amelia Apartments will offer affordable housing at 2929 South 200th Street. The seven-story apartment complex will consist of 108 units and 78 parking spaces. At least 21 of these units will be income restricted.

SeaTac hosts volunteer appreciation lunch with Mayor, Councilmembers in attendance
This year, event attendees totaled 65 comprising of volunteers, staff, Mayor Jake Simpson, Councilmembers Peter Kwon and Iris Guzmán, and City Manager Carl Cole. The City Council and staff were thankful to gather once again to show appreciation for the countless time and effort given by volunteers.
